The Tattoo Tabernacle. A Ceremony Center for people that believe tattoo’s make your skin a sacred object. Why a Ceremony Center ? To begin the process of making
cities, states, and the federal government responsible to recognize tattooing as a sacred religious
ritual with first amendment rights and protection. Tattooing as practiced by members of The Order of Tabernacle Tattooist are protected by what is known as the “free
exercise clause” of the first amendment of the constitution. In a time when
it is illegal to discriminate against ethnic groups, people’s gender and sexual preferences. It would seem that many governmental bodies in the name of
community values are applying the same prejudice that they did to these
groups , too tattooed people, before civil and equal rights laws made it
unlawful. Unfortunately these laws have been inadequate in protecting tattooed people and the tattooist that serve
them. Consequently many communities
are passing ordinances that are affecting tattooing and tattooed people. By
bringing the sacred significance back to tattoo’s and tattooing, it is the
hope and dream of The Tattoo Tabernacle and it’s membership,
that one day all people will not see a person with tattoo’s, but instead a
person that because of their religious values and beliefs has created their
own sacred skin as a testimony for all to see. For more information about the
teachings of The Tattoo Tabernacle or to give your input ,
contact us at info@tattootable.com or fill out the membership form and
send it in. We are spending money and effort to see to it that tattooed people enjoy the same rights and privileges that Christians,
Jews, and other religious beliefs do. |
